Who hasn't if you have been spending the last few days trying to read Katzung and cram all that you've read into your brain? Pros in slightly less than two weeks. Please mug hard. :|.

---

2 other random things that happened:

1. Emily said that Mayday is coming to Singapore. Ugh no moolah how to watch? :(.

2. I just realised my brother is actually 26. (sorry I forgot)

How I realised:
As I was (determinedly) reading Katzung, my bro came up to me and asked me, "Eh should I go to my friend's wedding? She invited me."

Me: "Huh so fast get married ah. How old is she?"
Bro: "Very young meh? Same age as me."
Me: "Isn't 24 very very young?!"
Bro: "I AM 26 LA"
Me: "Wah 26 already ah, ya la not very young anymore."

Haha. :X

I love my friends so very much.

Chocolate fondue over at Emily's with Hon, and Saus was madness fun, plus I had a dinner after dinner in Emily's kitchen, munching on what she thought was peranakan food. Haha. Of course entertaining shows like Deal or No Deal Hunks Special (No. 2 was really really really cute, the nine o'clock show and coffee prince did help with zhg-ing up the night. Hon finally revealing her auntie self (extremely encouraged by me) and my very unexpected late xmas gift (haha) of a t-shirt that apparently only I could fit in (Yes, we can all be grumpy without chocolate). :))))))).

Digressing, JAY CHOU IN TWO DAYS. (screams?)

Random things I've been up to besides mugging super hard for patho during the christmas week and after, rushing the questionnaire about excessive daytime sleepiness (don't we all have that?) for CHP and madly typing away on the keyboard the day before cofm report was due. Now that field work for CHP is finally completed, I pronounce myself on holiday until I feel it is time to start hitting the books for pros. Ah well.

This is quite depressing.

Not like before"

I actually thought life after patho CA will be more relaxing but boy was I wrong. COFM writeup and project has actually ate up my entire week after the CAs. Can't wait for field study and COFM report to be completed. Gah. I need my holiday. :|.

Gregory And The Hawk - Boats And Birds

If you be my star
I'll be your sky
you can hide underneath me and come out at night
when I turn jet black and you show off your light
I live to let you shine
I live to let you shine

but you can skyrocket away from me
and never come back if you find another galaxy
far from here with more room to fly
just leave me your stardust to remember you by

if you be my boat
I'll be your sea
a depth of pure blue just to probe curiosity
ebbing and flowing and pushed by a breeze
I live to make you free
I live to make you free

but you can set sail to the west if you want to
and past the horizon till I can't even see you
far from here where the beaches are wide
just leave me your wake to remember you by

if you be my star
I'll be your sky
you can hide underneath me and come out at night
when I turn jet black and you show off your light
I live to let you shine
I live to let you shine

but you can skyrocket away from me
and never come back if you find another galaxy
far from here with more room to fly
just leave me your stardust to remember you by

Gah I hate writeupsss :( Grrr. Anyway, ambulatory today was hilarious.

After going through how to name orthoses (it a true no-brainer because they are called AFO, KAFO, HKAFO H=hip, K=knee, A=ankle, F=foot, O=orthosis),

"So what do you call the orthosis that extends from your chest down your back?"
Us:"Thoraco Lumbar Sacral Orthosis"
"Correct!"
"What about the lumbar corsets? What do you call them?"
Me:"Er, a lumbar corset."
:X.
"Haha. Oh okay okay. Yes. It's called a lumbar corset, any other way of naming it?"
The rest of my group:"Lumbar Sacral Orthosis"

:XXXX I am the dumbest, really.

Shoba's 21st Party was great fun yesterday! There was a prata man who made excellent pratas and we pseudo-Indians really enjoyed ourselves! Shoba dint really have much time for us since there were so many guests, so we pretty much entertained ourselves with the camera and (irritating Rous). Haha :).

Things that happened in the past week:

1. Jay Chou Concert Tickets!

Hoho. Spent the entire morning madly clicking around the sistic website to no avail, following which Xq, Em and I rushed down to the sistic outlet in Wisma only to be accused of commiting fraud. Dear Rous eventually drove down to give invaluable help in securing the tickets. Yayness. Miss Velda, here is reminding you again NOT to sell your ticket away!!! >:|.

2. Jay Chou's New Album!
(Sorry no fotos at the moment)
Awesome album! :) Quite loved all the songs! Do support him and buy the original album please.

3. Youtubing over at Em's house! :) Great company, great show (wink), great food :)

4. Stardust with Xq and Emily! :)
Lovely Story! Claire Danes was really ethereal when she glowed. Heh.

5. New Shoes!

Arent they gorgeous! :DDDDDDDDDDDDD.

Say hi to my new pretty phone! :)

It has a reflective screen when on idle mode so I can use it as a mirror! :X. Plus, it's dead thin and weighs only 86g. What's there not to love?

Medicine End of Posting Test went pretty well for me, my long case was a DM with complications, short cases were an MR caused by IE and a lung collapse/fibrosis plus pneumonectomy. I conveniently forgot the terms pneumonectomy (and thus called it surgical removal of the lung) and an ECG stress test (and thus said, "make the patient exercise then do an ECG). Heh. How much more nervous could I have got. Anyway, I was happy with the cases and am looking forward to pass Medicine posting! Hurray! :)

---

End of Posting test also spells the end of CG 25 and an all new Orthopaedics posting. Gah. Schedule looks really hectic and it's time to start reading up on pharmacology! Gasp. Did we not realise that the pharmaco lectures we ponned during surg and med posting were actually pretty important? :X. Haha.
